The system requirements for GRANITE2 are quite modest for modern computers. Most Windows XP or Vista computers purchased in 2005 or later should be fine. We offer a free trial version so you can test GRANITE2 on your computer before buying.

Minimum Requirements

• Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2), or
  Windows Vista (any edition)
• 3D graphics card with the following features:
  (Most computers purchased since 2005 will have these features)
  • Support for DirectX 9.0c
  • 32 MB of graphics memory
• Display resolution of 800x600 pixels with thousands or millions of colours
• Mouse and Keyboard
• Sound Card (optional)

Known Issues

Nearly all problems with running Granite2 are caused by graphics card issues. Some examples:

• Graphics card is too old to support DirectX 9.0c
• Graphics card is ok, but its driver is too old
• Attempting to run in a Virtual PC (or in Parallels on Mac OS X)
